Exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work for a leading process engineering solutions company based in Charleville Co Cork. This company specialise in delivering high-purity process solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage, and chemical customers worldwide.

Responsibilities:
* Review and analyze client specifications & vessel data sheets.
* Generate vessel drawings & calculations using AutoCAD, Inventor & PV Elite.
* Work closely with production and the quality department to ensure that drawings issued for construction meet the highest standards.
* Generate and maintain vessel material database and control project documentation.
* Execute internal design reviews with the production & quality department.
* Collaborate with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met.
* Assist with incoming inspection of project equipment.
* Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and managing any risks to the project's schedule or commercial objectives.
* Perform quality inspections of equipment.
* Conduct in-process inspection during the construction phase.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Mechanical or Project Engineering degree or equivalent; alternatively, a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Project Engineering or pharma design role.
* Experience in Bio-Pharma/Pharma Unit operations or aseptic processes gained within an engineering design office or equipment supplier.
* Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
* Familiarity with standards such as ASME VIII Div 1, PD5500 & PED 2014/68/EU is advantageous but not essential.
