Key Responsibilities:
As a Stock Controller/Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of products and materials.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supplier Management: Evaluate and manage suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with our high standards.
Pricing Agreements: Maintain and negotiate pricing agreements that drive value for the organisation.
Inventory Monitoring: Keep a close eye on inventory levels and coordinate purchases to maintain optimal stock levels.
Order Processing: Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and swiftly resolve any supply chain disruptions that may arise.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our internal sales department to understand purchasing needs and align procurement processes accordingly.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain to enhance efficiency.
Key Requirements:
To succeed in this exciting role, we are looking for candidates who possess:
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Stock Controller/Planner or in a similar role.
In-depth knowledge of procurement best practises, contract management, and inventory control.
Proficiency in SAGE, Excel, and Word.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and organisational abilities.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
