Job Specification: Solar Farm Site Manager
I am proud to be partnered with a specialised energy company focusing on industrial heat pumps that provides advanced solutions for industrial heating and cooling needs, leveraging heat pump technology. This company is seeking a Solar Farm Site Manager that will oversee a 5.8MWp solar farm project, managing site operations, client engagement, budget, and quality standards. This includes Health & Safety (H&S), civil and electrical works, and commissioning.

Clients are large energy users in the Pharma, Cement, Dairy/Agribusiness, Distillery, Food & Beverage industries

Key Responsibilities:
* Client Engagement: Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clear communication.
* Project Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans and schedules.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
* Equipment Management: Specify and manage procurement of project equipment.
* Site Operations: Oversee daily site operations, managing subcontractors and resolving issues.
* Budget Management: Manage the project budget, monitoring expenses and preparing financial reports.
* Quality, H&S Responsibility: Ensure high standards of health, safety, and quality.
* Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers and stakeholders.
* Leadership: Lead project activities, ensuring alignment with company standards and client goals.
* Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractors to meet program deadlines and monitor performance.
* General Duties: Assist in additional duties as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:
* 5+ years in a Site Manager role in construction.
* Third-level qualification in Electrical, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
* Full clean driving license.
* Budget management
* Strong organizational and delegation skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of quality and safety management systems
* IT proficiency for generating detailed reports
* Ability to work within strict deadlines
* In-depth understanding of H&S in Irish construction sites
* Preferred: PMP certification, knowledge of renewable energy systems (Solar PV), advanced H&S training.
