Exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join a successful manufacturing company based in Charleville, Co Cork. This company delivers high purity process systems to the Pharma, Biotech, Food and Beverage and Chemical Industries.

Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule the delivery of project and contracted service activities.
Respond to customer requests for non-contracted service visits.
Support troubleshooting on customer sites as required, collaborating with other engineering departments to achieve successful outcomes.
Plan and oversee the successful completion of service projects and planned shutdowns on site.
Specify process equipment to support service and optimisation projects.
Ensure accurate collection of time and material costs for each service order and contract.
Manage training records, service spares, and tools.
Provide engineering support to the Department Lead Manager, Site Supervisors, and Welder/Fitters as needed.
Create and accept suitable and sufficient risk assessments for all service contracts.
Develop and manage schedules for resource management and service projects.
Review, process, and escalate site reports in a timely manner.
Conduct customer service visits as required.
Produce KPI documents and other tracking documents if necessary.
Prepare service project estimation quotations and component/spare parts quotations.
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) as required.
Identify opportunities to optimise customer process plants to drive new business development.
Assist S&M Project Engineering with the compilation of data packs for project qualification.
Maintain the CRM database for the S&M Department.

Requirements:

Degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
Experience in architecting and delivering Service Solutions.
Extensive and proven experience in providing effective customer support.
Managing Health and Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely).
Experience working with diverse teams is highly desirable.
Good understanding of GMP and previous experience in a GMP environment is highly desirable.
Experience in the food processing, chemical, or pharmaceutical industry is desirable but not essential.
Commissioning experience.
Experience with FATs and SATs is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office 365 (including Power BI, PowerApps, and SharePoint) is desirable.
