They are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This is a hybrid role combining office-based work with site visits to critical transmission infrastructure projects-including substations and circuit developments.

The Opportunity:
In this high-impact role, you'll take ownership of delivering medium to large-scale infrastructure projects from initiation through to close-out. You'll manage projects across the full lifecycle-ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in line with quality expectations.

You'll play a key role in:
Coordinating projects through the planning process, including both redevelopment and new developments of high voltage assets.
Overseeing project governance, risk management, scheduling, and quality control.
Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Representing the organisation in public and regulatory forums with strong communication and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of critical infrastructure projects across substations and transmission circuits.
Lead planning consent efforts for redevelopment and new build high-voltage projects.
Engage with stakeholders across engineering, environmental, and regulatory domains.
Champion high standards in documentation, quality assurance, and communication.
Support continuous improvement in project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

What You Bring:
A degree in Engineering (or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 years' relevant experience.
Strong track record managing complex infrastructure projects, preferably in the power or energy sector.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse audiences.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
Commercial acumen and the ability to make sound, informed decisions.
Knowledge of the Irish energy landscape and its evolving regulatory and environmental challenges.
A PMP or similar project management qualification (or working towards one).
