Our client is seeking Senior Platform Engineers to enhance their Application and Infrastructure Security (AIS) Product Area. Main responsibilities:

* Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain SAST, SCA, and secret scanning tools within the CI/CD pipeline.
* Collaborate with developers to eliminate application security vulnerabilities, leveraging both open-source and vendor technologies.
* Drive the continued focus on engineering excellence-improving automation, test coverage, release velocity, and overall production health.
* Document processes and configurations, ensuring knowledge transfer across the organisation.
* Engage in meaningful discussions and foster strong relationships with key business partners, ensuring effective delivery.

We are looking for candidates who possess:

* Hands-on experience with automation and pipeline implementation, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
* Nice to have but not essential: Application security experience (Pen Testing, SAST, DAST) and knowledge of API protocols such as REST and SOAP is a plus.
* Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practises.
* Experience in cloud environments is beneficial, with AWS certification preferred.
* Analytical skills and a knack for navigating ambiguous situations through timely, fact-based decision-making.
* A passion for continuous learning and a willingness to mentor and support team members.
* Proven knowledge of engineering principles, patterns, and practises.
* Experience with modern agile methodologies and a commitment to operational excellence.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to engage positively with teams and vendors alike.
