Join Our Client as a Senior Software Engineer in Test for 12 months contract in Galway (hybrid working)!

Our client, a leader in the industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Software Engineer in Test to join their Application Security Tools Squad. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vital team focused on ensuring the security of applications that serve over 40 million customers!

Responsibilities:

Test Strategy Review: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all testing facets are covered.
Automated Testing Suites: Develop and maintain automated test suites to assess product quality and readiness.
Training & Mentorship: Provide training to squads on test management practises and support fellow team members.

What You'll Bring:

Extensive Experience in technical roles with a strong background in test automation.
Testing Expertise: Proven ability to create and maintain comprehensive test plans, covering unit, functional, performance, and acceptance testing.
Vendor Testing: Experience testing vendor applications to ensure the highest quality.
Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies to enhance teamwork and efficiency.

Key Skills:

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent skills to work across multiple teams and drive a strong quality practise.
Automation Strategy: Ability to define and implement the test automation strategy within the team.
Framework Development: Hands-on experience with testing frameworks like PyUnit, JUnit, Karate, and Cypress.
Web Services Testing: Solid understanding of web services testing and troubleshooting.
