Role Overview:
As a Sales Business & Technical Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing processes and data related to product listings and retailer promotions. You will collaborate closely with our Sales Account Managers to identify and implement process improvements and automation efficiencies. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will ensure that we deliver excellence across our core processes for designated customer and category combinations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage SAP, cost pricing, and demand forecasting systems.
Take end-to-end ownership of cost pricing, promotional funding, and budget forecasting processes.
Serve as the primary technical contact for resolving cost pricing disputes and invoicing issues.
Lead stewardship efforts for the account team by adhering to payment documentation processes and uploading information to the central system.
Coordinate effectively with both internal and external teams, without direct people management responsibilities.
Train and onboard staff on complex systems to ensure team readiness.
Skills for Success:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Numeracy & Problem-Solving: High proficiency in Excel for complex data mapping and invoice checks, along with experience in identifying best practise solutions.
Systems Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Familiarity with PowerBI is an advantage.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for precision in tasks to ensure compliance with processes and stewardship standards.
Collaboration & Communication: Excellent ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, including the capability to train peers on best practises.
Time Management: Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and prioritising tasks based on need and impact.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in working with retailers and promotions in a similar role would be beneficial.
