Location: Cork
Salary: €40,000 -€43,000

Key Responsibilities:

*Raise Purchase Orders: Ensure timely ordering and follow up on deliveries.
*Data Management: Enter and amend key data for purchase orders according to company guidelines.
*Supplier Liaison: Be the go-to person for all supplier queries and maintain open communication regarding order statuses.
*Non-Conformance Management: Address issues with suppliers and communicate any non-conformance to internal teams.
*Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in raising purchase orders and provide support as needed.
*Database Maintenance: Keep supplier information and price lists up to date in our standardised company database.
*Contract Renewals: Advise negotiators on upcoming contract renewal dates.
*Analysis Reports: Generate insightful reports on supplier activity to inform key negotiators.
*Supplier Meetings: Meet with suppliers and explore alternative options when necessary.

What We're Looking For:
*A third-level degree in business studies or commerce, or relevant purchasing experience.
*Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus!
*Strong IT skills and understanding of purchase ordering cycles.
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
*Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
*Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and high accuracy.
*A confident, enthusiastic individual with a "can do" attitude.
