Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a successful manufacturing company based in Charleville, Co Cork. This company delivers high purity process systems to the Pharma, Biotech, Food and Beverage and Chemical Industries.
They are looking for a Project Manager that will plan and oversee all aspects of a project and meet the project's goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of project, process and mechanical engineers.
Work closely with clients to meet & manage customer expectations.
Responsible for design, procurement, construction and testing activities during the project.
Work closely with and drive internal teams to deliver on their specific project objective.
Ensure that the system is delivered on time, within budget, to specification and meeting the highest standards of quality.
Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors in satisfying customers' expectations.
A close focus on the commercial effect of project decisions will be important.
Monitor and report on project progress and identify and manage any risks to the project's schedule or commercial objectives.
Review and analyse client specifications in terms of company's quotation, scope of supply and commercial items; Review & Manage P&ID's and control changes;
Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation;
Approval of Purchase Requisition Forms for Project Equipment and Components;
Performing Design Reviews with client/production/mechanical Eng department;
Generating & Maintaining Project Database and control of Project Documentation;
Inspecting the mechanical build as it progresses;
Facilitate project communications and reports;
Assisting with Incoming Inspection of Project Equipment and Components;
Work with other internal departments to ensure project objectives are met;
FAT and Commissioning Support for Projects
Previous Experience & Role Requirements:
5 years' experience in similar role in related industry
BEng in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Process, Chemical Engineering or similar
Mechanical and process engineering experience, ideally in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector
Must have strong MS Office skills
Good telephone, oral and written communication skills in English (including experience in dealing with clients and vendors)
Excellent, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Must possess good attention to detail and flexibility of approach
Must work well as part of a team Must be able to demonstrate the ability to meet strict deadlines
Must be able to work under one's own initiative and to actively contribute to a multi-disciplined project team
