Our client is one of the global market leaders!
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the single point of contact for the EDC site, liaising with engineering teams, Finance, and external stakeholders, including the company's accountancy firm.
* Ensure timely submission of R&D tax credit information to the company's accountancy firm for the EDC site.
* Work with the EDC team leads and Finance to identify new opportunities in computer science within the areas of basic research, applied research, or experimental development.
* Lead process improvements on how tax credit information is collected and distributed.
* Liaise with the company's accountants to become a knowledge expert in the Research and Development Tax Credit process for Ireland.
* Program-manage multi-year Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) grants for the EDC site, defining and executing the implementation roadmap.
Some of these responsibilities include:
-Ensuring that all team members are informed of the grant purpose, structure, documentation, and drawdown requirements.
-Establishing a clear structure for project management that delineates hierarchy and communication channels, ensuring everyone understands their roles and the reporting structure. This includes communication plans between team leaders, the leadership team, and the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), along with recruitment planning (in partnership with HR), reporting, financial tracking, and drawdown forecasts.
-Proper allocation of resources, including personnel, budget, and tools, to ensure the project proceeds smoothly, including any necessary technology integrations. This step is essential for avoiding bottlenecks and unnecessary delays.
-Setting realistic timelines to track progress, meet deadlines, and synchronize with R&D Tax Credits.
Skills/Experience/Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field AND senior or management-level work experience in program management, process management, or process improvement.
* Strong project management skills, including end-to-end project ownership, design, and delivery, preferably with experience running a Project Management Office (PMO).
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* Business Relationship Management: demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a broad set of stakeholders.
* Results-oriented with strong written/oral communication skills.
* Ability to drive process optimization and improvement.
* Experience in R&D tax credit work in Ireland would be a plus.
