Role Overview:
Join our dynamic and successful team as a Principal Developer (75% hands-on development, 25% technical leadership). You'll be responsible for designing and developing applications according to best practices, contributing to overall company goals, and collaborating closely with an Architect, Product Owner, and Developers. You'll have the chance to oversee entire features from concept to deployment while working in cross-functional teams.
Experience, Skills, & Education:
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Vue.js tools
Expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React (open to similar tools if experienced with TypeScript and Node.js)
Over 6 years of hands-on experience designing and building large-scale applications
Experience in REST API development (preferably Node.js/NestJS)
Proven ability to design and deliver end-to-end systems (client/server/db)
Skilled in crafting ETL processes for Financial Data Vendor feeds
Expertise in CI/CD, networking, operational resiliency, failover, and disaster recovery (preferably with AWS)
Knowledge of various relational and non-relational database technologies
Experience working in an Agile, Cloud, CI/CD environment
