We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Mailroom Operative to join our client's team. As a Mailroom Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their mailroom and supporting their overall business operations.
Pay Rate €12.70 per hour
40 hours per week (Temporary)
Location: Ballysimon Rd Limerick.
Responsibilities:
Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and in a timely manner.
Sort and deliver all incoming mail to the appropriate departments and individuals.
Prepare outgoing mail, including packaging, labelling, and ensuring proper postage.
Operate mailroom equipment, such as postage metres, scanners, and copiers.
Maintain accurate records of received and dispatched mail.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure all mail-related tasks are completed efficiently.
Assist with document filing, archiving, and retrieving as needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a mailroom or a similar administrative role is preferred.
Familiarity with mailroom equipment and procedures, including sorting, delivery, and postage.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
