What you'll be doing:
* Leading a top-performing team of IT and Technology experts to deliver the organisation's strategic objectives.
* Ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of IT systems within the organisation, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
* Overseeing the technology-related aspects of the organisation's operations and maintaining and evolving the technological infrastructure.
* Driving the adoption of innovative digital solutions and championing digitalization and innovation across Transmission, Market, and Corporate IT Systems.
* Identifying and evaluating emerging digital technologies and trends to drive innovation and transformation.
* Collaborating with product owners to adopt new systems and enhance existing ones while ensuring minimal disruption during system upgrades.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to ensure the delivery of new systems aligns with organisational goals.
* Establishing robust processes to understand requirements thoroughly and working closely with stakeholders to define clear system needs.
* Leading teams of subject matter experts (SMEs) with extensive operational and IT system experience and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
What we're looking for:
* Proven experience in IT operations, system management, and strategic planning.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Exceptional decision-making skills and ability to manage complex partnership structures.
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering).
* Experience in leading high-performing teams in a changing environment.
* Exceptional at identifying and mitigating risks and comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity.
