Role: Data Engineer

Location: Dublin, Leopardstown - 3 days per week on site required

Duration: 6-months initially

Rate: £500l.00 - £550.00 Umbrella or LTD

We're on the lookout for an experienced professional to join our Innovation Program and help architect, develop, and maintain the data pipelines that will power next-generation solutions. Role Overview:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data infrastructure. You'll design and implement scalable data pipelines, ensuring seamless data ingestion, storage, and delivery across multiple ML initiatives. Your work will directly support the development of robust, scalable machine learning solutions, enabling us to push the boundaries of innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data ingestion pipelines and workflows.


• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability from a variety of sources including relational, graph, and object storage.


• Develop efficient ETL/ELT processes and manage the full data lifecycle.


• Collaborate closely with ML Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business SMEs to deliver high-impact data solutions.


• Optimize data storage and retrieval for maximum performance.


• Maintain thorough documentation and provide leadership in data engineering best practices.

Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in Python-based ETL frameworks and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow).


• Strong knowledge of relational, graph databases, and object storage solutions.


• Experience handling both structured and semi-structured data formats.


• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and CI/CD processes.


• Solid understanding of data governance, quality control, and management practices.


• Previous experience in financial services or banking data environments is a bonus.
